For a dog to change a person and bring fulfillment to an unknown passion is a short answer to how we came to be here. 

After loosing my special needs Aussie in 2017 I went in search for a new companion to co-pilot my daily farm adventures and warm my couch. With a co-worker suggesting a poodle since I had a spark for learning to groom and overall a versatile healthy breed.

Searching for a rescue/rehome poodle for over eight months with no luck I then began looking into a puppy. Being a dog trainer for over two years in my current career it was a logical step, to use my skills for my own puppy.  In December I saw baby red collar girl. I hesitated as surely she would already be swept up by a family. Weeks went by, photos, posts of her growing from a spotted potato to a puppy. Temperament testing results posted... red collar fit my boxes. Diving in I messaged with a feeling she was surely spoken for. To my surprise she then made the journey home a Ruby Roo red collar pup began the task of becoming the center of my and my husband's life filling it daily with exceeded expectations and pure enjoyment.

With her leading the way we have now traversed into the next level of poodle world and welcome her own little ones of colored collars. So many ribbons, memories, and relationships built all with my red collar pup right in stride.
